Nurse Executive Leader Certificate
Program Description
The Nurse Executive Leader Certificate program prepares the post baccalaureate registered nurse for the multi-dimensions of administrative responsibilities within a variety of health care environments. The Nurse Executive Leader curriculum extends and enhances the Bachelor prepared Registered Nurse's knowledge, skill and performance as a healthcare leader in a wide variety of clinical and administrative environments. The course work prepares the student for the Nurse Executive, Board Certification exam upon completion of administrative employment requirements.

Admissions Information
Hold a current, unencumbered active RN license in a state or territory of the United States
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree in nursing from a regionally accredited, four year institution with a nationally accredited school of nursing with at least a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale) calculated in accordance with Graduate Admissions procedures.
Hold a mid-level administrative or higher position (e.g. nurse manager, supervisor, director, assistant director) is recommended.
