Program Description

Offered through the College of Education, the University of Georgia's online English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Endorsement provides "add-on" certification to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) grades P-12 in Georgia public schools. The endorsement program is only valid for educators who have or will hold a teaching credential in another subject area (e.g., elementary education, mathematics, Spanish), a speech and language pathology professional certificate, or school counseling credential.

The three ESOL endorsement courses are offered online on a regular basis. These courses are only offered at the graduate level.
