Program Description

The Master of Arts in Technical and Professional Writing program (MATPW) offers a comprehensive 30 credit-hour online curriculum tailored to enhance students' abilities in public, professional, and technical writing.

With an emphasis on delivering information through diverse media formats, the program prepares graduates for a wide range of professions, including creative director, social media manager, web content editor, market research analyst, digital copywriter, corporate blogger, government information officer, and more.

Required Documents

  2. Official College Transcripts* from all institutions attended. Foreign transcripts must be submitted to an international credential evaluation service for a course-by-course evaluation to include GPA. Transcripts must be sent by the institution directly to MGA. We do not accept transcripts sent by applicants.

  6. English Proficiency, for International Students

  *If you have a college transcript from MGA, you do not have to pay for or send your transcript to Admissions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an institutionally accredited college or university
  • 2.75 undergraduate GPA
  • English proficiency, for international students only
