Master of Arts in Technical and Professional Writing
Program Description
The Master of Arts in Technical and Professional Writing program (MATPW) offers a comprehensive 30 credit-hour online curriculum tailored to enhance students' abilities in public, professional, and technical writing.
With an emphasis on delivering information through diverse media formats, the program prepares graduates for a wide range of professions, including creative director, social media manager, web content editor, market research analyst, digital copywriter, corporate blogger, government information officer, and more.

Required Documents

- Official College Transcripts* from all institutions attended. Foreign transcripts must be submitted to an international credential evaluation service for a course-by-course evaluation to include GPA. Transcripts must be sent by the institution directly to MGA. We do not accept transcripts sent by applicants.

- Documentation of Lawful Presence, for Residents of Georgia
- English Proficiency, for International Students
*If you have a college transcript from MGA, you do not have to pay for or send your transcript to Admissions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an institutionally accredited college or university
- 2.75 undergraduate GPA
- English proficiency, for international students only
