Associate of Science in Financial Technology (Fintech)
Program Description
The AS in Financial Technology is designed to meet the demands of Georgia's growing Financial Transactions industry. The program of study has been developed with direct input from industry leaders, ensuring that graduates of this degree are well equipped with the skills needed to work in this high-demand career field. Financial technology, also known as FinTech, is an economic industry composed of companies that use technology to make financial services more efficient. The AS degree program exposes students to the IT domains that make up the FinTech industry, including industry trends, disruptive technologies, big data, analytics, applications development, entrepreneurship, and cybersecurity. Students can enroll part-time or full-time and courses are available on a continuous schedule. This program is fully online, with no on-campus attendance requirements. Students conduct all work online, including team projects, exams, discussion posts, and case studies.
