Program Description

The Bachelor of Business in Marketing at Coles College provides the foundational business skills in management, communications, and economics. From your foundational skills, you will gain specialized technical skills and knowledge in market research, audience segments and behavior, traditional and digital advertising, and developing a marketing strategy.

Marketing is a complex field and is found in every industry. Your marketing degree courses will include developing skills in advertising (both traditional and online), communication, research, analytics, and finance. You will learn to use Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics for analyzing trends and projecting growth, Microsoft PowerPoint, to develop marketing strategic presentation decks for business leaders, stakeholders and online marketing tools for devising campaigns targeted to specific market segments and audiences.

Your marketing skills are in high demand, as you develop the strategy for a business’s growth.  Through the research of markets and consumers, you’ll understand who, how, and where to advertise products and services for a company’s growth.

Program Admission Criteria

Admission to the Marketing, BBA program is separate from admission to Kennesaw State University. Students must meet the program requirements outlined below to pursue this degree program. In order to be able to take upper-division courses in Marketing and graduate with a Marketing BBA, students must successfully:

  • Meet Coles College Sophomore GPA Requirement,
  • Be admitted to the Coles Undergraduate Professional Program. Admission to the Coles Undergraduate Professional Program is separate from admission to Kennesaw State University.
