Bachelor of Science in Education Elementary Education
Program Description
This program is designed to meet the needs of paraprofessionals and career changers and all courses are taught online, asynchronously. The program provides flexibility so working paraprofessionals can keep their current positions and use them as placements for their field and clinical experiences. Career changers will complete the program courses online. The Office of Field and Clinical Experiences will assist career changers with finding placements to complete required field experiences each semester. Career changers will need to be in a PK-5 classroom full-time in the last semester of the program in order to satisfy student teaching requirements. Advisors will work closely with each student to ensure their positions meet current program and certification guidelines.
Additional Program Notes
