Program Description

This is a five-course certificate program that is a collaborative effort among Augusta University, the University System of Georgia, and the University of Munich, Germany. This program is open to all academic majors. A certificate in EU Studies must be taken in tandem with a formal degree program. A student may formally apply to enroll in the program after successful completion of the prerequisites.

Admissions Information

A certificate in EU Studies must be taken in tandem with a formal degree program. Students from all academic majors are eligible to participate so long as they possess a minimum 2.75 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA). A student may formally apply to enroll in the program after successful completion of the prerequisites.

Prerequisites:

One of the following courses:
  • EURO 3234 - Introduction to the EU (3 credit hours) or
  • POLS 3100 - Introduction to the European Union (3 credit hours)

30 semester hours of academic credit completed

2.75 cumulative GPA

A course in World History, Western Civilization, or Global Issues
